Data Retention Policy

Last updated 2026-10-07. These documents describe how Atozium works. A mandatory law in your country still applies if it gives someone a right this document cannot remove.

1.Retention periods

  • Audit logs: according to your plan's audit retention entitlement (shown on your Billing page), then permanently deleted.
  • Mirrored device notifications: 30 days.
  • Screen session signaling metadata: about 1 day. Screen video is never stored. Safety Audio is never stored.
  • Organization events and webhook delivery logs: 30 days.
  • Cloud files: until deleted by you, until an optional expiry date, or until the organization is deleted. Abandoned uploads: about 24 hours.
  • Expired enrollment codes: 30 days.
  • Location fixes: until the device or the organization is deleted. The stored record is coordinates, accuracy, and time. A desktop lookup does not store the IP address.

2.Account deletion

Deleting your account starts a grace period (currently 14 days) during which you can cancel. Organizations you own alone are deleted with it. If you own organizations with other members you must transfer ownership first. After the grace period your profile, memberships, sessions and personal activity records are permanently deleted.

3.Organization deletion

The owner confirms by typing the organization's URL slug. Devices are revoked immediately, billing is set to cancel at period end, and after the grace period (currently 14 days) all organization data devices, files, commands, groups, notifications, location history, audit logs, API keys and webhooks is permanently deleted.

4.Records we keep

Billing history is retained after deletion for the period required by tax and accounting law, detached from deleted accounts and organizations and containing the organization name, amounts and dates, not device content.

5.Subscription expiry

When a subscription expires or is cancelled, data is kept; only premium features are disabled. Data is deleted only when you delete it, when a retention period ends, or when the organization deletion finishes.
