Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-10-07. These documents describe how Atozium works. A mandatory law in your country still applies if it gives someone a right this document cannot remove.
1.Who this covers
This policy applies to every account, organization member, API key, and agent install. The Terms of Service include this policy. A break of this policy is a break of the terms.
Atozium is a management tool for devices you own or are allowed to manage, with the device holder able to see that management is happening. It is not a covert surveillance product.
2.Permitted use
You may use Atozium only with a lawful basis and with the notice the people affected are entitled to. Permitted uses include:
- A device you own, including a computer you enrolled yourself.
- A company-owned or school-owned device issued to a person who has been told what the organization can do, including screen viewing, remote control, files, location, and notification mirroring if those are enabled.
- A kiosk, point-of-sale terminal, or field device that you operate, where any person who uses it can see that it is managed.
- A family device managed by a parent or legal guardian, where the child or other user has been told and the on-device notices stay visible.
If you are unsure whether a use is lawful where the device holder lives or works, do not enroll the device until you have advice.
3.Consent and notice
The device holder must know the agent is installed before it is used to view the screen, control the device, read notifications, open files, or request location.
Managed or unattended access on a phone is allowed only after the device holder turns that access on in the app and leaves the required system permissions on. You may not trick a person into granting Accessibility, notification access, screen capture, microphone access, or location.
You may not tell a device holder that a feature is off while you use it.
4.Covert monitoring is forbidden
You may not use Atozium as stalkerware or for secret surveillance. This includes:
- Installing the agent on a phone, tablet, or computer without the knowledge of the person who uses it.
- Monitoring a partner, former partner, family member, employee, student, tenant, or customer without a lawful basis and the notice their law requires.
- Hiding the Atozium app, its icon, its persistent notification, the “screen is being viewed” notice, or the iOS recording indicator.
- Bypassing an operating-system permission dialog, restricted-settings prompt, lock screen, or consent screen.
- Modifying the agent, the website, or a connected tool to remove those notices or to add collection the product does not offer.
Asking us how to hide the agent, silence the viewing notification, capture the camera, read SMS or contacts, record calls, log keys, or extract a PIN is itself a violation. We will not provide those steps.
5.Capabilities you must not imitate
Even if a phone or computer could technically do more, you may not use Atozium, or a modified copy of it, to:
- Access the camera, call audio, SMS, or contacts.
- Record screen video or Safety Audio outside the live session. The service does not store that media, and you may not build a side channel to store it without a separate lawful basis and notice.
- Log keystrokes or capture passwords, PINs, or payment-card numbers from a managed screen.
- Lock a device, wipe it, or open its apps except through the controls the product exposes and the device holder has allowed.
- Track location except with the location permission the device holder granted, or the desktop city-level fix the product requests.
6.Audio and screens
Safety Audio is a consented live conversation. You may not start it to listen in secret, and you may not record it where the law requires consent you do not have. A visible indicator on the device is part of the product and must stay.
Screen viewing shows whatever is on the display, which may include private messages or health information. View a screen only for a purpose you have a right to, and stop the session when that purpose is done. Do not copy on-screen secrets for fraud or for a purpose the device holder was not told about.
7.Children
Do not create an organization account for a child. A parent or legal guardian may manage a minor’s own device only with real authority, with the minor told in language they can understand, and with the app’s notices left visible.
You may not use Atozium to watch a child secretly, to watch someone else’s child without that child’s parent, or to contact a child outside the management features.
8.Harmful and illegal use
You may not use the service to:
- Harass, threaten, blackmail, or stalk any person, including by saving or sharing what appeared on their screen.
- Commit fraud, steal credentials, or move malware.
- Infringe copyright or another person’s intellectual property with uploaded files.
- Break sanctions or export rules that apply to you or to us.
- Probe, scan, or attack Atozium, another customer, or the payment providers, except under a written test agreement with us.
- Bypass plan limits, share one enrollment across people to evade a device cap, or interfere with rate limits and security checks.
- Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.
- Pretend to be Pixfar, a device holder, or a law-enforcement agency.
9.Reports and enforcement
Send abuse reports, including a report from a person who found the agent on their device, to [email protected]. Include the organization or device name if you know it, and what you observed.
We may investigate, suspend the organization, revoke devices, remove content, and refuse new enrollment. We may keep records needed to protect a device holder or to answer a lawful request. We may tell platforms or law enforcement about covert surveillance.
We do not read every screen session. Enforcement does not mean we approved a customer’s monitoring.
A suspension under this policy does not entitle you to a refund except where the law requires one.
