Download Atozium

Install the agent on a device you own or are allowed to manage. Create an enrollment code in the dashboard first. The plan decides which computers can enroll.

Business or Enterprise

Linux

Debian / Ubuntu (.deb)

64-bit Intel or AMD. Install with apt, then enroll with the code from the dashboard.

Professional or higher

Windows

Windows 64-bit (.exe)

Run the program, enter the enrollment code, and leave the window open.

Business or Enterprise

macOS Apple silicon

Installer (.pkg)

M1 or newer. Install the package, then enroll from Terminal.

Business or Enterprise

macOS Intel

Installer (.pkg)

Intel Mac. Install the package, then enroll from Terminal.

Every plan

Android

APK

Install the APK, accept the disclosure, then enter the enrollment code or continue with Google.

Every plan

iPhone and iPad

Installed from TestFlight. Screen sharing starts when the owner taps Start Broadcast. Remote control is unavailable on iOS.

Get started

Before you install

Create an account
  1. Create an account and open your organization.
  2. Go to Devices, then Add device, and copy the enrollment code. It is used once.
  3. Linux and macOS enroll on Business and Enterprise. Windows enrolls on Professional and higher. Android and iOS enroll on every plan.
  4. Install only on a device you own or are allowed to manage. Screen sharing keeps a notification visible the whole time it is on.

Business or Enterprise

Linux

Debian, Ubuntu, and other apt systems, 64-bit Intel or AMD. The agent starts when you sign in to the desktop. Shared files are in ~/atozium. The enrollment file is ~/.config/atozium/agent.json.

1

Download and install

Save the package, then install it and the tools used for the screen, the mouse, notifications, and ring.

Command

cd ~/Downloads
sudo apt install ./atozium-agent-linux-amd64.deb
sudo apt install libnotify-bin xdotool imagemagick pulseaudio-utils

If apt will not take the file directly:

Command

sudo dpkg -i ~/Downloads/atozium-agent-linux-amd64.deb
sudo apt -f install
2

Enroll and start

Replace the code with the one from Devices → Add device. The service then stays running for this user and starts again at the next desktop sign-in.

Command

atozium-agent enroll PASTE-CODE-HERE
systemctl --user enable --now atozium-agent.service
systemctl --user status atozium-agent.service

You can do the same from the app menu: open atozium Agent, enter the code, and leave the terminal until it says the agent is running in the background.

3

Permissions

Desktop session

Sign in to the graphical desktop first. The service is tied to that session so the screen exists when sharing starts.

Screen view

ImageMagick (import) or gnome-screenshot captures the selected monitor. xrandr lists the monitors so the dashboard can switch screens. A notification stays on the computer the whole time sharing is on.

Remote control

xdotool moves and clicks the mouse on the monitor you selected. View only does not use it.

Notifications

libnotify-bin (notify-send) shows organization messages and the “This screen is being viewed” notice.

Ring

pulseaudio-utils (paplay) plays the bell when the dashboard rings this computer.

X11

Screen view and the mouse use the X display. On the Ubuntu login screen, choose Ubuntu on Xorg when the session is Wayland and the picture stays blank.

4

Check, stop, or remove

Command

atozium-agent status
journalctl --user -u atozium-agent.service -n 40 --no-pager
systemctl --user stop atozium-agent.service
sudo apt remove atozium-agent

atozium-agent status exits 0 when this computer is enrolled. Revoke the device in the dashboard as well. Deleting ~/.config/atozium removes the saved enrollment on this computer.

Professional or higher

Windows

Windows 64-bit. Installs for the signed-in user under LocalAppData (no admin). Starts when you sign in. Shared files live in the atozium folder in your user profile. You can minimize the agent window; closing it stops remote sessions until it starts again.

1

Download

Save the .exe. Windows SmartScreen can block it because it is not code-signed yet choose More info, then Run anyway.

Command

cd $env:USERPROFILE\Downloads
2

Install and enroll

One command copies the agent to LocalAppData, adds a Start Menu shortcut, enables sign-in autostart, and enrolls with your dashboard code:

Command

.\atozium-agent-windows-x64.exe install PASTE-CODE-HERE

Or install first, then enroll when the window asks:

Command

.\atozium-agent-windows-x64.exe install
.\atozium-agent-windows-x64.exe
3

Permissions

Signed-in desktop

Screen view and remote control use the monitors of the user who is signed in. Sign in before you start a session from the dashboard.

SmartScreen

More info, then Run anyway. The package is not code-signed yet.

Notifications

Organization messages and the viewing notice use a Windows balloon notification. No extra PowerShell modules are required.

Firewall

Allow the program if Windows asks, so it can reach atozium while you are online.

4

Stop or remove

Close the agent window or end it from Task Manager. To remove autostart and shortcuts:

Command

& "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\atozium\atozium-agent.exe" uninstall

Delete the LocalAppData\\atozium folder to wipe enrollment data. Revoke the computer in the dashboard.

Business or Enterprise

macOS

Use the Apple silicon package on M1 and newer. Use the Intel package on an Intel Mac. The program is installed at /usr/local/bin/atozium-agent. Leave Terminal open after you start it.

1

Choose the package

Command

uname -m

arm64 is Apple silicon. x86_64 is Intel. You can also read the chip under Apple menu → About This Mac.

2

Install and enroll

macOS can say the developer cannot be verified. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or right-click the package and choose Open. Then:

Command

sudo installer -pkg ~/Downloads/atozium-agent-macos-arm64.pkg -target /
atozium-agent enroll PASTE-CODE-HERE
atozium-agent

On an Intel Mac, use atozium-agent-macos-x64.pkg in that first line.

3

Permissions

Screen Recording

System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording. Turn on atozium-agent. macOS asks the first time a screen session starts. Quit and start the agent again after you allow it.

Accessibility

System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Turn on atozium-agent so remote control can move the pointer.

Notifications

Allow notifications so the “This screen is being viewed” notice and organization messages can appear.

Stay signed in

The agent runs in the Terminal window you left open. Screen view uses the desktop of that signed-in user.

4

Stop or remove

Command

# In the Terminal window where the agent is running, press Ctrl+C
sudo rm -f /usr/local/bin/atozium-agent
rm -rf ~/.config/atozium

Revoke the Mac in the dashboard as well.

Every plan

Android

Install the APK on the phone. A notification stays visible while the phone is enrolled, and another stays visible while the screen is being viewed.

1

Install the APK

Download it on the phone and open the file. If Android blocks it, allow installs from that browser or Files app, then open the APK again and tap Install.

From a computer, with USB debugging on:

Command

adb install -r app-staging.apk
2

Enroll

Open atozium, accept the disclosure, and allow notifications. Then enter the enrollment code, or continue with the same Google account you use on the dashboard and add this device to the organization.

3

Permissions

Notifications

Required. Used for organization messages, screen-share requests, and the visible sharing indicator.

Unrestricted battery

Required for managed access while the app is closed. On Samsung choose Unrestricted. You can swipe the app away. Force Stop blocks remote access until you open the app again.

Accessibility

Required for unattended screen view and remote control. Turn on atozium under Accessibility and accept the system prompt. Remote control is only used during a screen session.

Restricted settings

On Android 13 and newer, open Settings → Apps → atozium → the menu → Allow restricted settings before Accessibility can be turned on.

Location

Optional. Lets the organization request this phone’s location.

Notification mirroring

Optional, and off until you turn it on and grant notification access.

Device admin

Optional. Lets the organization lock the phone.

Shared folders

Optional. Files are limited to folders you choose, plus the atozium folder.

Microphone

Optional, for Safety Audio and screen audio. The mic is on only while a session is active, a banner stays visible, and audio is not recorded.

atozium does not use the camera, call audio, SMS, or contacts.

Every plan

iPhone and iPad

There is no public App Store file on this page. Your organization installs atozium with a TestFlight invite.

1

Install

Open the TestFlight invite on the iPhone or iPad, install atozium, and open it. Accept the disclosure, allow notifications, then enter the enrollment code or continue with Google.

2

Permissions

Notifications

Allow them so messages and session requests can appear.

Screen sharing

You start each share yourself. When iOS shows the broadcast sheet, tap Start Broadcast. iOS keeps a red recording indicator on while sharing is on. Sharing cannot start silently.

Files

The organization can use the atozium folder and folders you pick in the Files app.

Microphone

Safety Audio asks you to accept. The microphone indicator stays on while the session is active. Audio is not recorded.

Remote control

Unavailable on iPhone and iPad. Notification mirroring, opening other apps, and device lock are also unavailable.
